#Android版Firefox将支持扩展
8 月 10 日，Firefox 官方博客发文表示，年底前将在扩展程序商店（addons.mozilla.org）上架支持 Android 版的扩展，具体日期将在 9 月初公布。由此，Firefox 将成为唯一支持官方支持开放扩展生态的主流 Android 浏览器。

博客文章表示，在过去，Firefox for Android 只支持安装一小部分官方指定的扩展（Nightly 版和一些分叉版支持安装任意扩展，但未必兼容——编注）；但如今，Mozilla 已经搭建好了支持开放扩展生态系统所需的基础设施。这包括在最近的 Nightly 版中引入了多进程支持，使得扩展程序可以在主进程之外运行，减少被系统清理的几率。
